A communication studies class helped raise money for a big mural celebrating diversity in Muncie. Students used their skills while working with We’re Trying Collective, a group co-founded by two Ball State alumni. The colorful abstract is both art and celebration.
As the new executive director of Muncie Arts & Culture Council, Braydee Euliss, ’11, said she strives to enhance the role of the arts “as a community builder, as an economic driver, as a kind of glue that helps hold smaller communities like ours together.”
