[dropcap]T[/dropcap]his year’s summer Orientation was one of Ball State University’s biggest ever, with more than 9,000 people from across Indiana and the United States converging on campus from June 6 to July 14. Guided by 33 student Orientation leaders, the 3,800-plus incoming freshmen and their families spent two days navigating class schedules, finances and campus safety, learning the fight song, taking a campus tour, dancing and singing. They even stayed overnight in DeHority Complex. All in preparation for the students to begin the next chapter of their lives, at Ball State.
