24 Hours at Ball State

Student videographer Josh Kattner, ’17, spent part of his final semester in college capturing a 24-hour slice of life at Ball State.

“I wanted to show people a behind-the-scenes look at campus,” said Kattner, a telecommunications major who recently graduated from the College of Communication, Information and Media. “For alumni, I thought it could spark nostalgia for their alma mater, reminding them of all the different ways creativity and passion presents itself here every day.”

Kattner filmed students across disciplines in various classrooms, labs and studios, in addition to spending time with university staff. “It was a lot of work to coordinate the different shoots, but everyone was so excited to participate that it made me feel good to have their support. I hope they like what I’ve created.”
