Theater instructor Robert Dirden and senior design tech major Kristen Sarasien transform Bill Jenkins, chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance, into Edna Turnblad for Ball State’s production of “Hairspray,” which ran April 1-10, 2016, in University Theatre. A gender-bending star turn is just Jenkins’ latest gift to Theatre and Dance.
